Year on Year the Van Egmond Group promotes some of the largest events in Australia now led by Christo Van Egmond, a 30 year veteran in live entertainment spanning concerts, exhibitions, sporting events and special events.
Christo Van Egmond has 25 years of experience across the sports and entertainment industries. As Managing Director, he leads the company’s operations and strategic direction, overseeing relationships with artists, agents, managers, venues, ticketing partners, marketers and sponsors. He also drives business development, working closely with partners to deliver major live entertainment projects across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
Christo began his career at IMG (International Management Group) Australia before moving into sports television and marketing, where he managed high-profile media rights deals for global properties including the US Masters Golf, FIM MotoGP, World Superbike Series, and FIM Motocross. He also represented leading Australian sporting federations across media, sponsorship and merchandising.
